The Railway operate on about 210 days in a year. As well as a number of private charter trains, the railway offer driver experience courses, whilst engineering trains.
The line was originally closed in October 1983 and reopened just 3 years later, as a passenger train attraction by the newly formed Bodmin Railway Preservation Society. Running on the line from Bodmin and Wenford, passengers can experience a service of steam locomotives, high tea in the dining carriage and all round family fun.
