Cornwall’s Sennen Cove has crystal clear water and, with the swell coming straight in from the Atlantic, is a great surf spot all year round. This beautiful coastal village in West Cornwall is situated just eight miles from Penzance and one mile from Land’s End. It is bounded by the sea to the west and bordered by the parishes of St Just to the north, St Buryan to the east and St Levan to the south.

There’s a little harbour that supports a small fleet of fishing boats and a long stretch of golden sand at Sennen Cove beach, popular with families and surfers alike.

Access to spectacular walks on the South West Coast Path

Close to some of Cornwall’s favourite attractions – Geevor Tin Mine, Minack Theatre, Tate St Ives, Barbara Hepworth Museum, St Michael’s Mount and Levant Tin Mine

Beautiful beaches nearby – Sennen Cove beach and Gwenver beach, and easy access to Land’s End.

Boasts a laid back surf style atmosphere and high quality restaurants nearby

Great water sports destination

Enjoy a family day out on Sennen Cove beach, boasting clear water and stretches of soft golden sand. Build sand castles, play in the rock pools or if you’re feeling adventurous grab a surfing lesson from one of the local surf schools

Sennen Cove can often be better than more crowded Cornish surfing locations. There are two surf schools in Sennen, offering top surfing tuition for adults and children with enough wetsuits to kit out a small army (open Easter – mid September)

Sennen Cove Harbour is home to a fleet of small pleasure-fishing boats. Take a fishing trip and enjoy the panoramic coastal views

Wander around the small shops and cafés, where you will also find a pub and some local galleries. Grab a bite to eat at one of Sennen’s popular eateries including The Old Success Inn.
