Bookings can be made online at www.stivesbay.co.uk You can make a provisional booking by calling our booking hotline 0800 317713. Provisional bookings are held for 7 days, and may be confirmed by telephone, or by completing the booking form on page 15 of the brochure.
On confirmation of your booking, we will take a deposit by cheque, credit or debit card. Cancellation Cover must be taken out at the time of booking, please ensure you check the conditions attached to the cover. (see Cancellation Cover conditions). The balance of payments due must be made 8 weeks prior to you holiday start date. No reminders will be sent for outstanding balances which may result in bookings being cancelled (see booking condition 2)
Your Holiday Dates
The majority of our accommodation is booked on a Saturday to Saturday basis. We do however have a limited number of caravans & chalets available from Wednesday to Wednesday, and a small number of camping pitches available Sunday to Sunday.
Getting to the Holiday Park
The Holiday Park is located in Hayle approximately 1/2 mile from the A30 providing good access from all parts of the UK.(see directions). Directions to the park, can be found in your information folder, sent out at the time of booking.
Check-in is at Reception and your accommodation will be available from 4pm. Please ensure you bring your booking confirmation with you. Due to limited parking on site, we request that people arriving before 4pm make use of the facilities in and around the Hayle area, to avoid congestion on the park.
Late arrivals – you will not be allowed to pitch-up after 9pm
Early arrivals – The holding area will be available from 12 midnight on the day of your arrival. You will not be allowed onto this area prior to that time. If the holding area is full you will be asked to leave site and return after 9am.
The maximum footprint of your unit is 5m x 8m to allow for fire separation. This includes all awnings, extensions and gazebos. Maximum length for a caravan or motorhome is 8m. If you are unable to comply you need to book 2 pitches. Extra pitches are not available on arrival in peak weeks.(see booking condition 18)
If you arrive when reception is closed, your key and directions to your accommodation can be collected at the gatehouse, where our security staff will be please to help.
All accommodation and pitches are to be vacated by 9am, on departure day. We will make a charge of £25.00 an hour after 10am, for any late departures after that time.
Bed linen and duvets are provided in our houses and most chalets and caravans. Blankets and pillows only are provided in all other accommodation – please check your individual accommodation information for details. Linen may be hired on arrival for a small charge. We do not provide towels but they can also be hired. We do not hire duvets.
In all of our caravans except the Easy Access and Eagle, one of the single beds folds away to allow space for a travel cot which can be hired at time of booking.
Cot linen is not provided. Freestanding cots do not fit in the bedrooms of any other caravans or any of the chalets. We do not supply bed rails. Beds cannot be removed from any units to accommodate cots.
Our accommodation is classed as a public place and therefore it is illegal to smoke in any of our units. (see booking condition 10). We reserve the right to charge for any additional cleaning for smoking in the accommodation, we may also charge for any damage discovered to the property upon your departure.
We’re sorry but pets are not allowed on site with the exception of registered guide or assistance dogs. Please bring relevant paperwork with you.
Insurance of Valuables
The park does not carry insurance for your personal belongings or cash. We highly recommend that you ensure you are covered, as holiday accommodation will not be as secure as your own home. Your household insurance may already cover you. If not, it is advised to obtain extra cover.
Please respect other holidaymakers and keep the noise to a minimum during the day. After midnight it is requested that noise levels are reduced to a standard acceptable for a family holiday park.(see booking condition 6)
Please put litter and all rubbish sacks in the bins provided, and close the bin lids – do not leave sacks outside accommodation due to seagull attacks. Please do not throw food out to feed the seagulls.
Supervision of Children
Parents/guardians are expected to supervise the conduct of children & young people in their party whilst on the park, particularly during the evening and night hours. They are responsible for ensuring their children return to their accommodation by midnight. They must ensure that children under the age of 18 do not consume alcohol on the park. Young people must bring ID with them – Passport or driving licence to prove they are over 18 years if they wish to purchase alcohol. Alcohol may only consumed in designated areas – bars, club or within the seated area outside the bars and within the accommodation they are staying in. Anyone causing a nuisance or any young adults booked as part of a family party who are left unsupervised will be asked to leave the park immediately with no refunds.(see booking condition 14)
Single Sex Groups
St.Ives Bay Holiday Park provides a relaxed environment tailored to the needs of families and couples. As such we do not offer bookings to single sex or other similar groups, such as stag/hen parties. We do not accept bookings for workmen and/or workwomen.
